Ningbo Shenzhou Knitting Co., Ltd. has completed a total of 15 rooftop distributed photovoltaic power generation projects with a total investment of 160 million yuan. It has utilized a total of 1.154 million square meters of idle factory roofs and plans to increase the installed capacity of distributed photovoltaic power generation by 41.7 MW, which is approximately the grid connected capacity of photovoltaic projects in the previous six months. After the project is put into operation, it will generate approximately 42.1 million kilowatt hours of new electricity annually. Reducing carbon dust emissions by 4800 tons, carbon dioxide emissions by 14500 tons, sulfur dioxide emissions by 460 tons, and nitrogen oxide emissions by 155 tons. The distributed photovoltaic power generation project utilizes vacant roofs, does not occupy any land resources, reduces coal usage, and greatly benefits the improvement of current air quality.
